I must apologise as in my previous video on this topic I made some assumptions around how the removal of rental restrictions would affect 55+ age restricted communities, and now that further clarification and interpretation of the Strata Property Act have come to light, I feel it is prudent to present these to you.
Today’s video should provide some further clarification around the interpretation of how the NDP’s removal of rental restrictions in strata properties will affect 55+ age restricted complexes. Keep in mind however that this is a very new legislative change that effects multiple regulatory branches, new information and interpretations may yet to come to light.
