Chances are you have heard of or may even know of someone who has bought a presale condo or townhome and flipped it (assigned the Contract of Purchase and Sale to another Buyer) prior to the Completion date. This was a fairly common practice in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley a number of years ago, however is it still as lucrative as some claim and what are the tax implications?
